| This group of three works went
missing while in transit to the United Kingdom, in the care of UPS
Worldwide Services some time in September / October 2000. UPS has yet to adequately
explain to us what became of these paintings. We
are
of the opinion that they should have done much more than they have. We
think they should have called the police or had a more extensive
internal security check, but it looks like they are not interested in
finding and fixing the breach in their security. Their explanation is that
when the client reported the works missing, the six month period for
reporting missing freight was over and that they are not responsible
in any way whatsoever.
We
need a big effort by our members to help reunite our client with his
works. |
